Psychology Research Projects
These are my undergraduate research projects that I have presented in a symposium.
Left poster: Collaborated with a faculty and five other undergraduate students at the Psychology department of James Madison University.
Right Poster:Collaborated with a faculty and a graduate student at the Psychology department of Virginia Tech.
 Foreign accents impair memory only when the information is more difficult. This finding supports the cognitive load theory. Foreign-accented speech creates a heavy cognitive load particularly when information is more difficult, leaving less resource for memory and other processes |  Results indicated that there is a diagnostic part for both holistic and configural objects. Objects that were recognized nearest to the fixation and furthest from the fixation have a more distinctive diagnostic part than the objects in the mid-range. |
